Our Pumpkin Patch WILL OPEN SEPTEMBER 22, 2018

Mums are available for sale now. The pumpkin patch will open for picking on September 22nd.

We planted over 2000 mums for you to choose from here on the farm.  The majority of them are planted in a 9 inch pot and usually have a diameter of 18-24 inches.  These sell for $6.50 each or 3 for $18. This year Diane is experimenting with “patio pots”.  She only planted 12 of these with “rainbow” colors in them.  They sell for $20 at the farm.

From a distance the pumpkin patch looks like it should be nice this year.  We planted  8 acres of pumpkins, squash and gourds for our visitors this year.

On your way to the patch we have planted 2 sunflower mazes this year.  One is in the normal location.  The other is larger.  We anticipate they should be blooming toward the beginning of October.  We also will have some farm animals for the kids to see in the barn.

We will be having our annual Harper Valley Pumpkin Patch Days festival on October 13th and 14th from 9-5.  This will have all of our normal activities at the patch along with face painting and food available.
